A nice Lidl urgent job in a 7.5 tonner for one of our larger customers yesterday.  This new Lidl distribution centre is all shiny new, Lidl did we know how empty the place would be, Lidl wonder we were in and out quickly! (sorry couldn’t resist the puns)

Fun Facts

Lidl’s new 600,000 square foot warehouse at Severn Beach in Avonmouth is double the size of the existing warehouse in Weston-super-Mare that it replaced. It is the fourth new warehouse  in the last year, alongside similar centres strategically located in Exeter, Wednesbury and Southampton, and one of the largest to date.

The only one in the Midlands, it is the German chain’s 11th centre and at 435,938 sq ft is its largest in the UK.
